Odd looking wrap on that saw, what's the saw in your display picture, as that has the wrap I'm used to?

 

that saw in the picture is the 9010 that wrap was carried on from the sachs dolmar era

 

the 7910 full wrap is a different design and shape altogether

It got dropped or was not sold when makita acquired sachs Dolmar in 1991 iam Certain makita just kept the Dolmar brand as fitchell & sachs made several engines normal and rotary and also they had the scooters snow mobiles and are producing some equipment to this day. in the mid 70's fitchell & sachs acquired a majority share in Dolmar to make it sachs Dolmar they had approx 16 or 17 years together :thumbup:
