Hi,

 

Welcome, my 70cc 365 runs a 20" bar fine with relatively low vibes. It may be a little heavy if you intend to use it a lot.

 

Cant comment on 372 or 576 as I have not used them, but other than that MS460 & later 461 will pull 20" easily if you want Stihl.

I am looking to replace an old ms440 needs to run a 20 inch bar with low vibrations as the present saw really makes my hands ring. Any recomendations?

441/461/576 smoothest ?

 

 

In terms of vibes definitely.

Worked with a guy who runs a 440 mag on Monday and it was the first thing he commented on with 5 mins on a 576xp was in his exact words smoother!

We use a 460 at work on 25", and I have a 441 on 20".

 

The 460 is more powerful, but the 441 has significantly lower vibes. Can't comment on the 461, or the Husqy equivalents.

I think its recognized that the 576 is as smooth as a cashmere cod piece . I do however prefer the older 372XP . Does not feel such a lump .
