As there is a pedant thread running regarding spelling and grammar, here is my pet hate, WHY oh WHY do people post "PM sent" in a thread??????:confused1:

 

If you wish to PM someone just do it!!!

 

Why do people feel the need to tell everyone they have sent the thread poster a PM????????:confused1::confused1::confused1:

I must admit, I do wonder why also. It's not something that really bothers me though, or the grammar issue either.
