I looked at nugent at last years Lamma, they looked excellent in build with some nice features but they are a heavy trailer compared to ifor. Iv no doubt they'd last though.

I don't have any facts or figures but I'd agree, behind my quite pokey transit it felt fine but my old ford ranger did feel the weight a bit even when empty

Strong is good with diggers as they get smashed about but would be a pain if shifting a 2.5 toner

There are so many other good makes out there now that they need to be looked at.

When I need a new crane trailer I will most likely have to go Ifor purely because we know it fits, but I will never buy another Ifor tipper.

I traded my 16 ft ifor Williams 3500 kg platform for the equivalent Brian James. If people want I can do a review when I get a minute. I have had the bj for about 18 months. Both good trailers for different reasons.

That would be novel. A good idea and a new type of kit in review section.

CLH Trailers in South West Wales, speak to Chris, he'll make you anything you want and is cheap compared to the mainstream brands. You can specify any details you want and choose wheel/tyre size, height of tailgate etc within reason.

His stuff is all hand made, properly welded and galvanized.

Built like tanks mate!

Another good one over my way (Worcestershire) is Hazlewood Trailers, ask for Stuart. Not as cheap as CLH but very good quality, and again you can customise it of needs be.

Good luck!
