South Devon tree surgeon with cherry picker

Question

Hi, I have looked at your members directory but not found anyone very near me. I need 9/10 leylandii topped off and would welcome suggestions as to who might be approached in the Ashbrton Totnes area. Thanks

Im in Blackawton. I dont have a cherry picker, we hire them in as and when required. More than happy to come have a look, but i won't be able to do the job for at least 6 weeks.

Hi,

Thanks for all the replies so far. I am thinking travel time might bite into work time considerably for some of the offers here. Could anybody that is interested therefore PM me a price for a days work with themselves and a cherry picker. Plus email addy if you like.

Bovey to you is a short distance in travel terms (altho Ashburton and Totnes aren't exactly next to each other). If someone needs to start out at 4am to be with you at a reasonable time i.e. 8-9am so what? Get a fixed price for the job anyway, not day rate.

Can you expand why a cherry picker is needed? You may unintentionally be "specing-in" kit and cost that isn't necessary.

Travelling time to/from a job is irrelevant really since a start time and finish time are easily established.

You've asked for a day rate but there is no indication of specifics that allow someone to establish how long / how many in the team.

Way to many variables to even consider providing an estimate but good luck!
