Thought they had beefed the spring up a bit?

They have beefed the spring up

It's not mine it's a lad I know who tests them a load of other little changes too new cylinder with different ports and a different software for the carb. I've never see it in action so I can't comment but I still see the same weak AV mount at the back

I've gave up with my 540 apparently a bent AV spring isn't warrenty anymore so I've bought a rough 200t and its off to spud to sort out, I'm using my first gen 201 and it's running quite nice at them moment (drilled exhaust and carb limiter removed)

I tried to order some of those springs in but ended up with just more of the standard ones:001_rolleyes:

I agree the av attachment could be better if strengthened (im not a fan of shaving off plastic when it comes to attachment points) although im not sure that it is a major weak point.

I know a few people have had them fail but it could be to do with over tightening of the av spring when fitting, ie crushing and damaging the plastic.

I only say this as I havent had one come back due to failure, plus our one gets abused and it doesnt show any sign of weakness.

Those springs aren't new! I saw em 4 months ago! Likewise, software updates are regular, in the 2 years between my 560's manufacture and the APF, there were over 10 updates.

Timing and porting is usually how they improve the saw.

Oh yeah, cjm, you may have just lost your mates husky testing deal!

Not really he's been testing for years and he's quite open about what he's got

Husky has a no-picture policy, you can talk about it all you like. That is how we know that the 572 and 590 are under development!
