If we had no rules where would we be? France! If we had too many rules where would we be? Germany!

Are you sure that you want regulation imposed? I for one definitely don't want some Tory tw@t in Westminster telling me how to go about my business.

I'm at nothing simply having a discussion, your the one jumping in with both feet if someone says something you don't like which is pretty much everything, maybe you should try engaging your brain instead of your mouth because they clearly can't work together. I'm guessing your IQ is single digits as your incapable of understanding that my post is a desire that we fix issues so big brother isn't involved, you have a chip on your shoulder which is your problem not mine.

The problem with the written word is that once posted it is out there for all to see and cannot be taken back.

I guess many controversial posts are as a result of an unfortunate choice of words, and many heated discussions could have been avoided by thinking twice and typing once.

Making a comment like that is nothing to do with discussion, heated or otherwise, it's just ignorant and totally devoid of common decency.

Well said GK, plus the nuance of conversation is lost in electronic format. Ideally a moderator should delete all the nonsense/mudslinging posts back to where thread started to go off the rails.
