Should I buy a quad and which one ?

I have about 1 acre of house and yard. My Westwood ride on has given up. I had a bit too much mud for it this time of year and am thinking of a quad. I would like to move my trailers around one of which is 16 ft.

I am a bit short on space so tight turning circle is a must.

I want to move half a dozen dustbins full of saw dust around several times a day as well as general tidying up.

Part of the ground is grassed garden so low ground pressure would be good.

I fancy buying something nice 2-£3000 rather than buying half dead scrap to compliment the rest of my kit.

Should I look for Honda and if so are the later automatics ok or should I buy something older an manual. Sorry for so many questions but I know nothing about quads

How about one of the kubota rtv is handy having the back area...

It could be a possibility. I have an old hilux but find it a bit big for squeezing through gaps etc. I like the idea of seeing the tow ball under the hitch or being able to pull the quad into place but maybe a large quad is too heavy to pull about ? I have up to 16 trailers at times although I think I am down to about 6 at the moment.

I use a suzuki 700 king quad auto with IFS & IRS plus diff locks it pulls an ifor 16ft with a 3 tonne dumper on it & moves horse boxes around with ease, iv got tow bars back & front and a 3 tonne 12volt winch, very handy bit bit of kit, also Honda Forman or Yamaha Grizzly are good

350 suzuki king quad with the high - low - super low gearbox, the super low is the business and will pull anything on wheels!

With four wheel drive on, diff lock on, bottom gear and the missus sitting on the front rack for ballast, I am constantly amazed at what can be pulled. When thinning in tight spaces I drop the base of the tree onto a skid plate and use the quad to pull stuff down, so much quicker than winches.

Best £1500 I've ever spent
