I work a facebook page for my dad (he is not the most computer literate) and its amazing how much sales we pick up through facebook.

Yes i pick up some more trade through it but does any one pay extra to promote through the boost facility and what results do you get.

I used to get people coming to me from the Facebook page that didn't want to pay for tree work or just wanted it done cheap or to be given a quote without looking at the job. I don't use it anymore.

I've started one for the business but not convinced how much mileage there is in it for my business. - Selling and servicing mowers and chippers.

But as you say it's free and no harm.

have you got a 'spotted' facebook page for your area? a lot of businesses advertise on it, there are a lot of members and its free. just dont overdo it as you will annoy the admins. takes 1 minute and you can reach thousands. if they are not interested, they might share with friends / family who may be.

I put a few pics now and then on my Facebook but my friends constantly harassing for mates rates and there friends expect the same .

 

Without sounding horrible or big headed I don't advertise has I cant find enough hours in the day has it is .
