Mince pies

Back to mince pies 🥧 😁

Pretty  much any but especially Mrs Barnes (Miggins) specialities,  available only by invitation. 

Any with cream, evaporated milk or brandy butter.

I am now craving a mince pie or three 😋

Can't believe nobody has said Greggs, atleast they're cooked or made in the shop and don't just taste of sugary sweetness.

Greggs are certainly best for fresh doughnuts. Got to be jam though. Non of that Krispy Kreme muck.

I've had a few insects in the past and think Moth would probably be best in a mix rather than neat, furry bellies might not be so good (spiced ants are good by the way - think ant + smoked paprika)

The culinary merits of different insects probably deserves a whole new topic of its own. Not something I've had much experience of, apart from the odd thing here and there out of interest or for a dare.

Tried crickets, silkworms, scorpions etc in Thailand- not much taste really, odd crunchy then floury texture. Wouldn’t bother again
