Works through YouTube. Search "oak deadwooding.

Nice looking tree to climb, and I was surprised to see you using ddrt, pleasantly so.

I also found myself disliking you a touch for making that shot with a throw line by hand. Can you at least tell me you edited out 45 mins of failed shots and untangling? It would make me feel better :)

What's that shiny thing above your hitch? Can you take a close up?

haha cheers joe that was my third throw mate:biggrin:.

I always hand throw ,i like it and nothing gets much bigger then 35 meters here.

yeah I've played with srwp but my hitchhiker disappeared.

I like ddrt and I'm pretty happy using srt for access and ddrt for climbing.

The red thing is a pinto rig spacer , I'm using it at the moment and its good if you want to do some fast descents.

you should get one and give it a whirl , it won't change your life but its quite good .https://honeybros.com/Item/DMM_Pinto_Pulley_Spacer its the rig spacer

Oh right... I didn't realise you only hand throw up to 35m... I'm lucky if I can hit my chimney... I live in a bungalow.

I'll try the rig spacer. Good idea. :)

Aaah, deadwooding.... a good 50 to 60% of our work is that, or "totholz beseitigung" in german. Or as i like to call it "totholz bescheißigung" (german speakers will understand:001_tongue:)

Nice vid mate, nice climbing style too, i'm still practicing to get that stage :blushing:

Great to see a bit of "normal" tree work too
