installing a log burner in a conservatory

Is it not worth putting a burner in your living room and braking through the outside wall with a flue? It'll be cheaper

I've got a twin wall flue running through most of my house and it cost me a fortune, that flue goes through into the kitchen then into my bedroom then breaks into the chimney half way up in my bed room. Only because someone removed the chimney breast down stairs to make the rooms bigger. I wouldn't of got it done if I didn't get free wood

I still need to box off the bedroom bit but it's kind of hidden so I haven't bothered, this was all done by a hetas fitter

You need to bare in mind you'll need a decent hearth mines on bricks and needs a decent clearance at the back 600mm mine sits on 1 inch thick slate it's a nightmare to keep clean

Carpet is getting replaced that was my handy work I built the hearth to ease the cost

you will need to be a bit careful how you box it in as you have some of the flexi liner exposed distance to a combustible from this will need to be 3 times its diameter
