Guys I just need a broad idea of how much I might be looking to pay for PL, I'm trying to set up my own business, just weekend work to start but still want to be covered and be able to say and show potential clients that's I am insured.

Can anyone give me a rough idea what it may cost me for PL, and EL, I'm just talking broad figures here as its something I'm looking into in the new year...

Just as an idea it's going to be me and one other, my pick up, a chipper and minimal kit saws ect...I get tool cover through my truck insurance but may look at that aswell if I can get a deal on the full package

Any info greatly recived

Cheers guys, not looking at getting quotes untill the new year but just wanted to get the feelers out and get a figure In mind 👍

I think it goes on your turnover and what type of work and of what percentage of your work is what that determines the cost. Each year I have to fill out a form saying how much each type of work makes up my turnover.

Had no problems with arborisk and got my PL , EL, hired in plant and professional indemnity all on 1 policy from them and saved a packet on having it all together rather than from several providers.

Tree surgery insurance were the best for PL

Trust best for EL. But combined arborisk were very competitive and very easy to deal with and all sub 1k a year.
