Weight distribution over the axles?? IIRC many have warned that a double cab puts more of the load over the back axle, so even if you are under 3.5t gross, you can be over on the rear axle. This can lead to much sadness for the driver.

 

On top of that the double cab (usually with a longer chassis) weighs a fair bit more than a single cab witha tool box behind -QED less payload anyway.
