O how I have tried to get a 260 over here rocking horse .... springs to mind, I used one at college and loved it.:001_smile:

 

Really? You do surprise me, I thought there would be quite a few over there? Why not ask your stihl dealer if he's got any trade in ones or he can source you one or get one fron here, you got e-bay there?

Sorry if I said something wrong if I did it was unintentional, as for locating a second hand saw it is difficult as people seem to keep hold of things until they die the second hand market is not the same as it is in the uk because people keep hold of things, me personally like (shiny new things)as for bar length it was a genuine question as in a previous message someone said 18 inch for 261 I asked what it was for a 362 so once again sorry if your offended.

No it's ok really and not offended, if you like new stuff that's fine but the newer stihls are no were near as good as the older ones. All I can say is if you pm me and let me know how much you willing to pay for a 260 I don't mind biding for you on e-bay. May b a 09 011. Then I can send it to you and settle up when you receive it? Just a thought:biggrin:
