Hi,

.

I wouldn't buy a 261 or a 362 but would buy a 260 or a 361. However, Id like to think the 261 clutch bearing issue is sorted but consider it should be given a routine greasing.

So, that said, my choice would be a 461 running a 20" bar.

Needle bearing issue defo not sorted!!! Still disintegrating after 2 mins use from new. However if you change from a rim sprocket to a spur they Las a little bit longer with a good greasing

Hi logan thanks for thr info, the 3 main type's of trees are birch, pine, spruce, then the rubbish alder, pop, as for the saw I think a 261 with a 16 inch will be fine because when working in the forests if its to big I can leave it, I don't do domestic

As a forestry contractor, I have to fell whatever is marked up or clearfell, etc it seems you already have 2 small saws, surprised you'd go for another smallish 50cc when you could go for a 60cc that is happy cutting small sticks and in it's element with the mid sized trees?

When thinning, seems we end up felling the runts and the monsters. The 60cc copes with both.
