I don't think I got a local dealer for Dolmar. Being a Husky man I surprised no one has said the 576. Thanks Bill and how's you Jon it's looking like a 461 and Radmore and Tucker have got a very good price on one

For me the 576 seemed pointless . Miniscule amount more power than a 372 but a lot extra weight . Nearly as heavy as a 385 but not as much power as a 385 .

I suppose i have to throw a spanner in the works here so ... i had an early 576 , got a handy enough life on an 18 inch mostly softwood and it lasted only around 14 months .

Bought a 441 (only because there was a waiting time on 461s and i needed a saw straight away ) lives on a 25 inch bar in dry hardwood and it is an animal only problem is breaking anti vibe rubbers which is obviously to do with what is an oversized beam .

Not a very scientific theory i know but I firmly belive that despite all the quality control you still get good and bad in every product , its happened me with cars ,vans and jeeps etc .

If i wanted a bomb proof for reasonable money saw it would be a 365 x torq and after a year or so id let Spud or Wyk have a fiddle with her .

Mrs Santa I think would cut my sleigh bells off if I tried for a 390 !! The 372 is at a knockout price at the moment
