A mate had his serviced by dyson and it ended up like new (including a new motor), just looked and for a dc01 the price is £79 and for that they come to your house.

BTW don't whatever you do sell it and get a henry, dyson uprights are so much better! 😁😁

...motor is buggered, very noisy, sparking and smelling burnt.

Do I try replacement brushes first for a fiver, or shell out 50 quid for a whole new motor? Meanwhile the cat fur is taking over the carpet...

Thing with dysons is that the owners do not clean and wash out the filters often enough.

 

Checking for blockages all the way through the pipe is a start, sucking up brick dust is the main blocker uppa

 

Constantly expecting them to work when blocked does obviously burn the motors out.

 

Suction wise and hassle free cleaning they arnt that bad

Bought a really expensive dyson a few years ago. Cant remember which model but it had loads of different colours. Biggest piece of crap I have ever purchased. hated it from the word go, useless piece of junk. My wife really wanted it so I refused to buy another hoover for 5 years and she had to use it:lol:
