Boom! That's what I do myself. Unless the trunks a big gnarly thing. Then pantin comes out for a short while. Until I can use spikes and lanyard again, much, much faster if your sound on spikes

Yeah you can, just have to fiddle about until it works for you

Put it under, and position it behind the gaff near your heal, not ideal but works.

It works, but it's not perfect.

 

I'm interested in the ascender that bolts under the gaffs from NZ when it becomes available.

If we have pies for lunch we use a Nissan Navarra to get back up the tree.

 

Hook the rigging rope to your harness, car goes forward, you go up! Taking out the slack on the climbing line as you head skywards.
