Oregon® seeking Field Testers

On the link it says that the return is important as they need to evaluate how the used product has held up to its usage.

I would have thought similar. Also gives participants more incentive.

It's so they can look at the stuff after the arbtalk community has set about destroying the items received for testing

Thanks for the outpouring of interest already - a very impressive response from the Arbtalk community. As noted, above all else, we want the products to be used in the way you normally would. Good or bad, we want to see the result along with your feedback. If we're lucky and enough testers agree, we may be able to collect the product and your feedback in person.

We're focused more on the saws you have and the chain pitches you normally run, because that allows us to match up your equipment with our cutting systems. I know questions like whether you fall more trees or do more trimming is difficult and perhaps arbitrary - I'm more interested in who considers themselves a Pro vs a Consumer. This is also usually reflected in the equipment.

I have used 325 Microlite chain for a number of years and fully understand the narrow kerf principal.I guess in the U.S small bars and small saws ,are homeowner saws ,and require safer chains.Over here there many pros using 50cc saws with 13" & 15"bars.

I notice your 325 Microlite bars are now available in pro-am for amateur and pro-lite for professional use.Any chance of a pro chain to run these bars - a full chisel chain without guard drive links ? 95vgx maybe.
