I love my 150 VTR, it's perfect for my set up, it acts like a tow behind it if I need to track into a garden or field I can. The 150 is a good honest chipper if looked after properly.

works ok for me.

Is it much of a ball ache shovelling the chip under the roof part of your chip box? I'm thinking of doing a similar thing with mine!

No mate, it does blow it under well, may just need to rake it out at times. If I take it out it get the chip well packed in and there is just under 3.8 cube when brimming.

Isn't the hopper really high? seriously leaning towards the tracked side, opens up so many doors.

I'd not really worked with any other set up before that, so knew no different, but am pretty sure you'd soon get used to it.

The very rare occasisons I've had to work with a tow behind, I've wondered why anyone would want one.

I use a tracked chipper on or off the trailer at my regular job..can't imagine using anything else (ramp is removed when using on trailer) and when I work with Hodge it's a joy to use his set up.
