Ms201t or t540xp

I'm looking to get a new saw soon. I have the ms200t but it's getting old. Need to get in the new. Who recommends what and why?

Get neither, have your 200t restored.

Echo 360, hands down, for me, but I'm biased as I have one.

 

It's not the fastest

It's got a two year pro warranty

It's got a normal carb

It's very well built & reliable

Haven't had mine long enough to give a "seasoned" review.

What I will say is that it is still in one piece and it is much quicker than the 201 we have...

I do hear that the new 201 has has been greatly improved though.

Count yourself lucky we bought four and regret it now. One of our lads has a stihl and def wish we'd gone that way.

The 540 is supposed to have more power than the 201. Tho. I want something with power and can cut fast with a 16" bar.
