I like a bit of variety, because climbing for a week in persistent rain is pretty unpleasant.

I'd like some indoor work to fall back on, but splitting rings inside the timber store is the closest thing I've got.

Did my tax return this morning, that's about as close as I get to indoor working all year!

Yep, it's a deeply unpleasant experience

Variation is key. And when your self employed you will learn to take any jobs which can earn you money.

Climbing day in and out will wear you thin physically and knacker your body.

90% climbing, 10% felling, been pretty much that way since I started.

 

I wouldn't touch landscaping or fencing, I haven't a clue how to do either.
