my lads decided he needs an xbox, apparntly you can play loads of stuff on them .

there appears to be a few versions, with diifarent stuff on them so wich is wich :confused1:

im clueless on this stuff :laugh1:

a bit of help would be good be

You also say he is 5 1/2.......

Tell him he doesn't need one and that he needs to climb trees and make mud pies and go pond dipping, deer/squirrel/bird stalking etc etc

Resist as long as you can. I appreciate its a bit of a king Canute situation trying to hold back the inevitable tide. :001_rolleyes:

Get him an X Box 360 and you will be the coolest Dad in Guisley! I will send you Grand Theft Auto 5 for yourself so you can enjoy it when he,s not around (it,s for big kids like us!) Superb graphics and it,s cheap. One important word of advice! Limit him to how much he plays on it.It,svery addictive.i should know.when the first super Mario brothers came out I would start playing in the evening and the next thing I knew it was getting light outside! thankfully now I can manage on an hour or two when I,m trying to finnish a chapter or a game.

good point ! If you go for an X box 360 make sure its the elite / jasper model . These avoided the 3 rings of death . My lad has 2 360 jaspers and wants an xbox one for Christmas but says he will keep both or at least one of the 360 because of what his mates have and also 360 game wont playon the new xbox one !

Xbox one (should be xbox 3!) is the newest model and costs around £350. If I was buying for a 5 year old however, I would get a xbox 360 which is the older model, they should be quite cheap now and you can get good preowned games for as little as £3 now, a child that age wont know the difference and you will save yourself a lot of money.
