£710 is £710, but......

i just can't help feeling dissapointed by that figure every time i see it scroll across Steve,

i reckon thats a shameful sum in relation to how much hard work you've put in x how many non charitable serial viewers there are on here.

Putting up the Raffle Sponsor tag was a cracking idea to try boost late interest, but i guess the thriftiness of Arbies is showing through though.

I wonder if one of the bigger charities would have faired better? ( not criticism of choice )

Well done to you, what ever the total be Steve.

Great use of the forum imo

Come on people jump on, lets see if you can get it up towards 4 figures.:icon14:

I can only agree with the sentiments above, I know how much effort Steve has put into this raffle, and indeed the whole forum for our benefit. As i wa his first raffle, its very hard to gauge what response would come, how many prizes to put forward to attract the punters. Thanks Steve for trying.

I agree with all that has been said and totally applaud Steve's magnificent efforts.

The prizes are surely worth it but that value bears no comparison to the pleasure and joy we can help to bring to the kids who should all have health, comfort and happiness. So come on guys let's see a surge in raffle ticket sales and at least hit the £1000 mark.

Happy new Year to you all.

Colin
