I've had mine about a month and it rips the arse out of a 560. Been using it on 24 inch 3/8 chain and it cuts as quick as a uk 560 on a 18inch 3/8. Is slightly heavier than 560 but whatever is different in engine/carb the saw is an animal. Husky should ditch 560 and bring the 562 here. Physical differences bigger air filter but apart from that looks the same. Doesn't come with double spikes as standard but put some on last week and it makes cross cutting bigger wood a lot easier. Biggest advantage apart from power is if you run other bigger huskys you can change the bars if one breaks, hence I ran a 24 for a couple days whilst waiting for the new 20inch Sugihara to arrive.

I have had 2 560s son can comment on the power difference both on 3/8th also.

Interesting.

So what's the setup for getting one in the uk?

The 562XP is not brought into the UK, there are more differences than you first imagine, yes it has the 560 cylinder, but everything on the clutch side is different, bar pad ( big for 3/8 ) the oil pump, pump gear, sprocket, bar pad protecter, crankshaft, chain catcher, chain brake, hand guard, air filter and top cover, as for the power not too sure why people say it is better than the 560?

Have you tried both for a comparison?
