Either Chippers are most likely to be a little on the big side for a small massy

I was quite impressed with the pto turntable TS industries chipper, worth a look.

I have not personally operated one but from what I have seen they seem to be a good chipper , another older chipper that's always worth a look is the kiwi chip

Out of your list TP as they are a very solid chipper.

 

What massey will you be putting it on? We run a 12" Bandit (1.5tonne) on a Massey 4345 which is 75hp at about 70 at the PTO. Always stalls the tractor at start up but second go it runs and it works very well considering the power behind it.

That does sound like a hell of a punishment for the poor little tractor. Do you reckon it would be possible to adjust the electro-hydraulic PTO engagement?

Apparently the guy behind them used to work for schliesing and took all the ideas he liked, left out the bits he didn't put some new features in.

Before the TS industries, I used a 10" PTO Jensen and the TS was miles better at pulling stuff in.

The turntable version is worth the extra money.

The Jensen's suffer from the sides of the top feed roller wearing and bits of material getting stuck down either side.

Kwik chip were solid chippers. Had a 9" turntable which worked very well. Only got rid of it as Fletchers stopped doing them and spares became hard to find. Now you can get them as they were a rebadged from another make who can do you spares.

 

From memory i think the 9" turntable was around 850kg.

We have the problem of bits getting stuck down the sides but usually feeding a rather large piece in with the crane fixes that haha
