another well presented answer andy, are you a defence lawyer:sneaky2::biggrin:but my only critism is the word 'cool' in the same sentence as h+s:lol:

No mate.... more of a "defender of the faith". Lawyers get paid! lol

And what's wrong with "cool" being used in the same context as "H&S"?? Are you saying that I should be changing my bedtime reading to Mills and Boon or Razzle ?? :001_rolleyes:

As to putting in to this site i thought i did put a lot in i must be wrong. i will have to do some more reading and put something good in.

Not at all mate, if you've already added, then i stand corrected. Was it on this thread though??

As i've already said, Stevie B is trying to put together a comprehensive resource for us all to use...... it doesn't have to be good/bad, as somebody somewhere may find some aspect of the info useful.

just to add more griss to the mill - our RA's are quite basic, Talking Forestry work here - would post but afriad youd all laught at them - they pass muster and do the job - but I find i tried to put in an all singing all dancing one - which seemed to be over the top and the lad who weve appointed site safety officer said it was too much to fill in every day etc - so we checkd what we needed - took advice and our basic tick box was sufficient and the lads didnt mind filling it in - simple tick boxes, verbal checks, tick boxes, sign etc done - 5minutes before start felling and its complete - anymore and i think they wouldnt bother - but it IS a needed piece of h&s as it does reinstate in everyones mind before they start what should be done, what mustnt be done and what could go wrong and then what to do if it does and where to go etc

hope this helps

keep up the talk joy

The point of this thread is for people to add, not take. If you need a doc or two, then how about helping others in return, by adding what doc's you do have.

it is for peolpe with the info to add so that others that dont can take i thought:001_smile:

Yep I did right at the start. :001_smile:
