Big saw..Husky 390 or..?

661s seem ok now they have sorted the problems. 660 is old school saw so just works. If you can find someone to give you a go your welcome to compare it to my 660

Whats wrong with a 460/461 with a 25"??

I've got a 390. It's top notch, not a massive amount of weight for the power! I run mine with a 28" or a 32". Sometimes a 18" when I'm just being silly 😬

Im looking at a 461 on a 25" for £772 with vat or a 390 for £835 with vat. Surely those extra cc are worth it?

I went for the 390xp instead of my normal choice of stihl.

I find it like the smaller huskys, light and easy to shimmy when snedding, unlike a big stihl which is a bit less ergonomic.

It will be getting the spud treatment as I'm not 100% pleased with its power on 28", this may just be me.

 

Honestly, if someone put a new ms660 and a new 390xp in front of me I think I would go for the 660:blushing:

HI PIE better with husky then a 461 on 25" 461 good on a 20" we run a 660 on a 25" thats ok but husky will have loads more power as it a larger CC saw thanks jon

I've used 390 belting saws, had a 660 sold it for a 395 & what a beast that is cracking saw
