Mog on the motorway...

I work somewhere where this frequently has to be done in order to get to some jobs. On one occaision V*s* even drove past but did nothing.

 

What exactly is the law regarding this? I'm guessing I am the blameable party if caught? If so, does anyone know the potential consequences?

I know a lad who got done for this and got fined and all that, even though he was working further down the m'way. At the same time there was a brand new mog with trade plates on getting the same treatment , can't remember the outcome though

I think that you'll need to talk to VOSA for a proper answer. Then keep that letter in the cab at all times.

Agricultural registered vehicles are a no no on motorways as I remember

I passed a U500 on the M90 this morning, it was sitting at 70 no problem. Doubt it was ag registered though.

Not sure, but he got away with it after appeal as was working on the m'way at the time
