Anyone else rate the Meindl Airstream??

I've had mine now for 14 months and they are as good as the day I bought them... the bright colour has faded a bit but the boots themselfs seem indestructable.

Never had a pair of boots in daily use that have lasted this long...

iv had the meindl airstream 10 months and they are falling apart ! they were very comfy but i wouldnt buy another pair.

So 2 years later with my protector pros have fallen apart on the soles,Has this happend to anyone else?

Two years is a great Run from a pair of Boots,thats a year longer than any have lasted me.

every climber ive come across wears hiax protector pros including me. they are relly comfy providing very good support, they also last a long time.

they always seem to wear through the front like that, soon as the rubber gets thinner it just seems to pop open. i wouldnt mind too much after two years though. my meindls seem to be lasting a lot better than protecters ever have.

Meindles for me or Klimbas. Both good boots and the Klimbas lasted two years. Had the Meindles about 8 months now and still going strong. I bring mine in from the Uk as with the current exchange rate they work out cheaper than buying them from an NZ supplier, even taking into account freight and import taxes.

I've not used Haix for years,but thought they were good boots at the time.

 

I like "Klima Airs" but usually wear through the Leather covering the Steel Cap after about a year.Squirting Windscreen Sealent into the hole seals it for a while,but once they are holed they are on their last leggs.
