Cut n climb jacket everytime. Even when they get wet they dry quickly. I trialled the jacket before production and they worked well.

Thing to bear in mind is the weave of the jacket or trousers. The tighter the weave they better it performs for waterproofing. But if the jacket gets covered in skank it wont perform so well as the weave will be held open by dirt thus allowing moisture through.

I have a Harkie jacket, one without a zip, climbed init last 2 days in the rain with just a t shirt underneath and been bone dry at the end of the day. Don't wear bottoms I don't mind wet legs

That's the thing, when its mild you need a waterproof that works when you are wearing only a t-shirt on underneath.

You are the king of flexothane:laugh1:

That man has it, if it's truly peeing it down flexothane is the only way, cheap, tough and water proof, I've the salopets, and a onsie. It's a bit warm but it only comes out if it's cold and wet and I can't hide out of the rain. On top it's the husky forest waterproof as it has massive vents. But again it's essentially flexothane.
