Robust wet weather clothing for FORESTRY ?

Now the rain has set in I need to get kitted out with some very robust wet weather clothing for FORESTRY ,suggestions please? So much to choose from at APF,BUT BUT,which do you find is really water proof and ideally breathes. I do not care what it looks like I just need it to keep me dry. I know most of it makes us sweat from inside out,so we feel wet and cold when we stop.

I am looking for something similar and am considering these two:

I have a Country Covers field coat I use for shooting and it is great - totally waterproof, windproof, ripstop material so if it does tear its limited to how far it will rip, and breathable. The one above looks a bit more usable for work.

Army surplus Goretex jacket. £30 ish, waterproof, hard wearing, breathable, lightweight, not too hot, hood fits nicely over helmet and ear defenders.

 

Just have a good rummage through the rail in the shop and make sure you get a decent one.

Ex power company wet weather jacket; Gore-Tex underneath heavy cotton canvas which is waxable.

Don't think there are any! They all leak, or hold in the sweat.

there is tons of jackets but not many of the much needed over trousers.

 

 

no good your top half being dry if your piss wet through from the waist down!!
