Green furniture direct out of the log... let's see your designs!

A lot of Oak framers sandwich the glazing between neoprene gaskets. One side is to the green Oak, there's 'battening' around the glazing that's the same thickness as the unit. The outer face is capped with air dried Oak.

I always think a flexi glue (Stixall??) or a bed of silicone would be a decent bit of insurance on mirrors.

Hi All! Just finished a job for St. Andrews School in Salisbury, which gave me the opportunity of making some nice chunky rustic furniture as they wanted a bench, a prayer box and a big cross (C of E Primary School!) to go in their new outdoor chill out spot. Each piece is made out of a different type of wood - the bench is oak, prayer box is spalted beech and the cross is cedar of leb.

Hi, no it isn't but I am half way through a coffee table out of some of that beech - will post some pic's when it's done. I got some nice planks out of it and still have some to mill up yet.
