I have heard that there is (Drew B?), but it's such a bollock you are better off installing a standard cambium saver first, then installing the ART manually once you have made your first ascent.

 

 

Correct. Effectively it is not possible, it can be done with two throwlines and stuff but not worth the tangle. Give it up and step away from the idea!

 

Just throwline, footlock/srt and install RG when you get there.

Ditto, srt is something well worth getting into its simple and effective, it also makes throwlining a little easier as you don't have to isolate a branch.

thanks drewb the only bit i dont quite get is step 5 where abouts does the little harp go ??? and does it matter which end of your line goes through the pulley ??? but thanks again for that im now off to try it ready for tomorrow on a 120 foot pine lol
