Theres not many things I get excited about these days, then I saw this at the APF

Had its first outing today......I got my wires crossed a little with the instructions and put the highest powered round in to fire a projectile into a 70ft Oak tree. Watching this thing literally disappear out of sight was hilarious. The Red cartridge that I used is meant for 150ft heights, and it easily travelled all of that much to my amusement and that of the onlookers.

Second attempt with the correct sized blank was a bit nearer the mark, but its going to take me a few attempts to get the feel for it. I was on the clock this morning so had to crack on with the job the old fashioned way unfortanately

Fantastic gizmo though which is going to make my life not only easier, but slightly more fun. I will keep you posted with my progress and upload a video soon :001_smile:

Can it be loaded with a bean bag round when the climber need a little encouragement or attitude adjustment?:biggrin:

the projectile he's launching in the video is the low impact version for around greenhouses....not sure i'd want to be shot with it though! The projectile I used is a solid lump, probably about 16ounces....I definetly wouldn't want to be hit with that one!

Sounds like fun although I suspect anything coming down from 150ft wouldn't be particularly low impact.
