The whole point of the Stig being unidentifiable, is so the driver can be changed as and when required!

 

This is not and has never been ONE Stig.

 

If they used an identifiable driver and he or she test drove the cars, when ever the driver changed, the car manufacturers would claim the new driver was not as good and thats why there car did not do as well as one driven by the previous driver.

the original stig used to live near me when i worked in essex in 2002 and he used to drive bentley gt cars but i can't remember his name for the life of me.
