A little stool I made a while ago for my own use , top is 2 oak off cuts and legs are bone oak .. which I have always thought has great potential for making rustic work . The chair is driftwood collected locally on kayaking trips with a few close ups of details . I am partly through another project using Ash sticks for a refined rustic style furniture and will post pics when complete

Good to see what others get up to in their sheds ! Gray git ... bit of a coincidence we both made 1 armed chairs .. same arm as well !! I really like the style and proportions of your chair , I have seen work like this on US websites and books and they are very desirable/ costly , I have just bought a tenon cutter for future projects and have a nice source of Ash sticks and will be getting in to it, if this summer ever ends ( too nice to be working !) I find it very time consuming work but enjoyable with minimal tools required and relatively quiet as few power tools are required not too dusty either ... do you sell any ?

Sell a few, mostly children's chairs as presents but this 1 was a commission for a hat maker hence the high back leg to 'hang a hat'.

According to someone more lurned than myself the 1 arm thing is from victoriana times when lady's wore large bushels so would not fit in if a chair had 2 arms....

I just like it because it's quirky
