Germany has it nailed then imo.

Once off your property it's not under control and vermin.

You really believe that its legal to shoot cats in Germany??????????:001_rolleyes:

Please don't believe every thing some post on here.

A German police officer is likely to be in serious trouble for shooting what he thought was I dying cat, would that happen if shooting them was routine?

, I have taught them to ask for things and one of them is a YouTube star. So when a person gets so much enjoyment out of a mere cat and someone else comes along and says they are going to murder cats THEN people get annoyed.

I thought mere cats were something to do with insurance  It only pees me of that they crap in any bit of bare soil and see the bird feeder as a bait station for their entertainment. I rescued one from our Fox Terrier once as she had thrown it in the air and I caught it and all I got for my trouble was it crapped on me. I did once knock one out of the tree down the garden with a clothes prop as it was after our young Jenny Wrens that had just fledged and they don't always land on their feet. I do lots to discourage them as does my wife, putting stuff down that they don't like the smell of and netting all the beds so they can't get on them but when I had dogs it was my job to keep them in and under control and clean up after them and now it's my job to keep someone else's pets out and pay for the privilege. A friend of mine has cats which never leave the house, crap in a litter tray and are quite happy with their lot as long as they are warm and being fed so the "doing what comes naturally" b@ll@x doesn't count for anything,

I locked my cats in for 2 weeks when we moved house as is standard so they get used to the new smells and don't get lost.

It was the longest 2 weeks of our lives.

I'm done with this thread. I can't bear the talks of violence against cats.

The day I open up my cat sanctuary is going to be extra special knowing I've saved strays and unloved kitties from being 'ended/shot/run over/beheaded/knocked out of trees/poisoned"
