No they are not 'top spec'. They are a good solid spike with a proven track record, the design hasn't changed much(if at all) over the years. You are unlikely to get top spec in your budget i'm afraid.

 

If you can squeeze a bit more out of your budget then these would be the best choice

As Steve says these are good, in fact IMO they are the "dogs".

I got him the geckos. He's just sold his drum kit and he's got weekend work this week so I'll squeeze him dry then surprise him with his spikes :)

 

Thank you for your help guys :) i may be back nearer to Xmas! He's not a lover of socks as a gift and I have no clue about arb stuff.

 

I emailed fr jones and they confirmed they will be ce marked so there's no problem when it comes to LOLER time. Why is it all so expensive?! He's got a tree motion harness, zigzag2, a gopro, loads of rope which costs more if it's split.... I think he'll have to

Insure all his stuff soon. Or I could murder him and flog it all on eBay :D
