When I used to shoot I loved getting down to the river meadows and marsh after work hoping for a wild duck. Only ever used to get one or two as I never fed. Just relied on the adjoining stubble.

I used to get out after Geese on the stubble, but I wouldn't shoot one now. I've gone a bit soft like that.

 

Good luck to everyone who's out tomorrow though

Will be out this week sometime, work permitting

Seen a few duck about, just heard there's more than a few geese on the river woohoo

Looking forward to this season
