Me and Silky viewed a huge Leyland cypress at Stour Head. Have you still got any of the pictures on your phone Paul? This is an absolute mammoth, even without the newkie brown ale!!

 

 

Hi Mark. I'm not sure but I think they may have lost that one in the winter gales. I know they lost a huge Lawson near the pantheon.

So it's 4'3" at the base? And it's got a limb that's about 30" (I assume you mean one of the 2 trunks?

It's big, but it's not that big! I've seen similar sized trees

Its on same side of lake as grotto but then toward the house if that makes sense. Its a multi stemmed monster, probably 20 stems all big trees themselves
