Ebay chipper!

Last night I bid and won a entec 150 chipper it's been re sprayed in tw orange and looks fairly smart chipper, I'm off to look at it today, any advice on the main points I should check prior to completing purchase, [ATTACH]163497[/ATTACH][ATTACH]163499[/ATTACH][ATTACH]163500[/ATTACH][ATTACH]163501[/ATTACH]

Check the anvil to see how worn it is, that will give you an indication of how it mat of been looked after.

 

I think the kubuta engines are pretty bomb proof. Get the serial no and ring up TW they normally try and log the owners so they can check it's not nicked!

Yeah will def check the anvil!

Get hold of the few wheel and give it a good wobble to check the tin can bearings are ok.

Is that hopper and stop bar hse compliant these days? Worth checking as could be a pain to turn up to a job and stopped from starting as someone is not happy with it!

Have a look at the tires and make sure evenly worn as scrubbed on 1side means the indespension units are goosed

.
