Air Cooled Engine overheating!

Sorry the engine keeps running fine. Only when you turn it off and try to re start later on it won't start. You can hear the solenoid engaging but it won't turn the engine. If left for a while it will then turn over and start.

 

Have blown through the oil cooler recently and checked again its still clear.

had to fix a koala v twin 25hp last year with glowing exhaust pipes very scary looking when it was hot and on removing the fan cowlings around the heads found straw/chip/impacted dirt/oily/soil etc i cleaned it all up as there is very little room for any dirt ingress >>> it will ruin your engine if you dont keep them cooling fins cleaned out
