I have a 2009 Hilux invincible and chipped it to 200 HP now getting 33 MPG and 30-31 with trailer. But towing weights not that good!!

Bit off track but is chipping/remapping really worth it? I have a 2013 3L Hilux Double Cab and struggle to get 26mpg on a run sat at 75mph. 33mpg would be nice!

Sigh,

Styer Daimler Puch "Gaylander" wagen.

120BHP 2.9TDI (the revered Sprinter engine) which "Upsolute" will "tweek" for mair power.

Torque converter automatic gearbox, and 24mpg regardless of duty cycle.

Proper locking diffs front and rear for true 4*4 drive, shift on "the fly" from low to high or visa versa.

And supremely comfortable on the road and off.

A slight appitite for the coil springs on the rear is the only identifable weakness.

Not a rattle, nor a squeak.

keeps the oil in and the water out too.

I got a chip from torquing diesel and i'm never out of 5th gear the best I got on average for a tank full was 34.9 mpg but that was on holiday pottering about at 50 mph holding up all the locals! The chip was the best part of 300 quid but I do love the extra torque and ooompf when needed!
