Thanks guys

We were there for the day. We didnt have to chip or anything, just keep the brush orderly for when they go back and tow the chipper down there with a mini loader.

Id say the tree was between 130-140 ft, or there abouts. Only 80 years old, but producing less and less foliage over the last couple of years.

The spiderjack is the ticket for removing a tree like that, with much of the work at 80ft and above the line just falls through and tends the slack beautifully. Had I been pruning that tree (spurless) I probably would've favoured the RopeWench.

I did get some video, havent looked through it all yet but Im hopeful it'll give a good perspective of the job. Thanks again.
