Drilling them out is a lot easier but since someone pointed me in the direction of the fiberglass inserts from Clark forestry I hope I won't be doing it nearly as often!

How do find the nylon ones? I found them ok except they absorb some of the blow and occasionally pop out (which is a tad annoying felling a big tree up a mountainside!) still better than the last two wooden ones which both split/sheared on first tree

Ain't used them yet as tend to use normal nylon wedges for most of my felling and only use the hilift occasionally, will let yous know when iv abused them.
