Theres nowt wrong with my ladders lol. I've gotta ask Rich to use em on Friday. bob can you loler check these by pictures ?

 

easy rerepair ther mick short lenth off threaded bar 2,washers 2,locking nuts be like new again :001_tongue:

cool, just someone had said a while ago on here they wanted something with multiple spikes for small diameter trees

 

Get a set of spikes where you can change the actual "spike" length i have a 2 sets one smaller length spike for smooth bark and smaller diameter trees and the other longer spikes for thick bark trees.

It is amazing the difference the smaller length spikes make in small stuff.

Oh... and get as as light weight and strong as you can ...mine are titanium i think.

i had the perfect spikes for me and just got new velcro pads,and since ive been off the new guy put them through the chipper :mad1:

While on the subject of spikes what to most of you prefer gaff wise?

 

The long ones or the shorties.

 

I have only ever used the short pole gaffs and cant get used to the proper tree gaffs, seems like I am just balancing on nothing to me.
