That looks almost as useful in the tree surgery world as the vw caddy was haha

 

I disagree. The diesel does over 50 mpg can tow a 1200kg braked trailer. It wouldn't be a main truck, but as a quote vehicle or a freelance climber a great little truck. I couldn't find any van/pick up 4x4's on the market that are comparable. (I do now have a caddy van that I am happy with however:001_smile:)

Yep that looks pretty stupid however, it'll be really cheap, good warranty, probably won't break down anyway and if it does break out if warranty it will be cheap to fix.

Certainly has its place in the market.

 

I love things like this and I would definitely buy a Ford F250!

Defiantly the Navara! My first truck was a Mazda B2500 but now have the Navara Aventura with all the toys. Really nice drive with about 34-38 mpg and about 33 towing. Non chipped. Very much like driving a car, and wouldn't have another make of pick up. Thumbs up from me and the misses!

Nope, a twin axle trailer full of rings and lengths of conny. It's the same towing the stump grinder on a 6x4 trailer with a large pedestrian grinder.

Not the prettiest but with that mpg that'll do fine; knock up a hard top or tonneau cover and you're sorted

While I lust over an F250 and stuff, truth is I've spent plenty of money on flash expensive mistakes over the years and now if I'm going to buy a vehicle it has to do the job and cost the minimum possible.

That's good advice Henry and if it doesn't fit on the drive, the gates can go through the chipper! Problem solved.

Thing is Andrew it says in the book every 6k so I do . As I understand it there was a bad batch of conrod bolts and the tendancy for No 3 to let go and go through the block .

 

that and some nice big end shells that dont last! had my big end done at at about 80k high speck bolts and old type shells put in cost £500 but cheaper than the risk of blown engine! the old shells looked more like they had done 200k!(think the bolts where the same part as from the petrol engine and not upto the strain so snapped from big end vibration before it could be heard! and no3 had a problem from oil starvation so the shells wear quicker!)or so im lead to believe
