I'm looking to convert our 110 to a tipper . All that is holding this up is finding a decent tipper manufacturer that can build and supply a tipper for me to pick up bring back and fit !! Part of the problem is being down in cornwall and everywhere is a long journey  I'm looking for a standard tipper with high sides and a roof but it's proving to be a nightmare to find anyone . Also what sort of money are they ? Any help or advice is much key appreciated

I got mine done locally and cost about £3k....I took it down as a hi cap and they did the lot.

I would imagine it would be easier for them to build it on the actual vehicle.

I would give Solent a ring I think they are near Southampton.

I did get a quote from them but they were to far for me.

Just to say the rules have changed on fitting tippers. Its all vosa approved and signed off now, so whilst you can take it anywhere, you will have to wait for it to be signed off before it can be insured and on the road. I found this out when I brought a nissan cabstar double cab chassis, and sent if to vfs in southampton. Three week wait for the paperwork

How is that policed? How would they know when it was fitted?
